Ajay brings more than 20 years of capital markets experience. As a publishing analyst at UBS and Cantor Fitzgerald, he’s followed a wide range of industries including retail, consumer products, specialty finance companies, SPAC’s, and utilities. In addition to his research background, he’s also worked in investment banking (focused mainly on private equity origination and leveraged finance). At UBS, Ajay worked closely with the equity capital markets group. As part of this role, he did extensive vetting and due diligence for new issues and follow-on offerings. He has experience across the capital structure.
Prior to his Wall Street career, Ajay worked in a variety of planning, analysis, and business development roles in the consumer packaged goods industry, most recently at The Gillette Company. He began his career as a consultant at DRI/McGraw-Hill. Ajay has an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.A. in economics from the University of Massachusetts. In 2019, he was ranked #1 for stock picking in the Food & Staples category and #2 across all industry sectors by Refinitiv/Starmine.
